it's cold, very cold
i love the song "fei ni mo shu" by ariel lin. it's like super nice. if i have a super super nice singing voice, i'd sing it to my tall man. LOL.
today's a very cold day. the rainy season's here! =\ but it's okay, i'm 95% prepared. hahaha. (:
my tall man's in school now. he must be feeling super cold because his classroom is air conditioned. too bad i can't go over to give you a big hug, dude.
i ate lunch in the childcare but i'm still super hungry. =\
today's my 2nd last day at work! i'm gonna miss the children. a whole lot because they are such adorable happy little people and i won't be used to not seeing them in the morning. especially my favourite number 1 wayne and favourite number 2 rayden and caden who just came to school last week. how nice if i can bring those 3 little ones home. LOL.
today's another random day. haha. (:
many people think that being a childcare/kindergarten teacher is an easy peasy job, like wash backside, feed them, change them, play with them can already. now, those who think like that please go bang your head against the wall or go ask the crocodile to open it's mouth for you to crawl in, thanks. being a childcare/kindergarten teacher is not an easy job at all. NOT AT ALL.
this holiday, i found out and learnt that childcare/kindergarten teachers have to have the passion and love for children to be able to stay happy in her job. if you don't have the passion for it, don't do it. please go find some other job. the children can feel it. i've an example but i think i better don't type it here. the children know if you really love and care for them. hitting and being rough with the children does not help at all. but if you talk to them nicely and mean what you say, they will understand and feel that you really do care. to be honest, i'm super bad at controlling the children. i can take 5 minutes to ask a nursery one girl to get her butt of the chair and to go upstairs for chinese. and the boys will still be running around the classroom even though i asked them not to do so. i've to catch one by one and talk to them firmly. it's super tiring. the teachers have to do work with the children and control the other children at the same time. sometimes, the children are so playful that the teachers end up not doing any work with them, which is not good because the children come to school to learn and socialise. when it's time to play, they can play. when it's time to learn, they don't play, they have to learn. but some children are so stubborn, they just wanna be playful and refuse to listen. you just feel like telling them, "okay, if you don't wanna learn, don't come to school. ask your mummy to keep you at home to play all day." but you just can't tell them that. it's not right for a teacher to tell the children that.
the teachers also have to plan lesson plans and change the classroom's decorations because the theme changes every time. planning a lesson plan is not as easy as you think it is. you've to meet the expectations of the principal, the parents and the children. you've to come out with a month's lesson plans and submit it to the principal/supervisor or whoever for approval. the teachers also have to research on the theme and change the classroom decorations. teachers also have to do observations on the children and submit their observations to the person-in-charge by a certain date.
childcare/kindergarten teachers are as stress as those doing accounts, business or whatsoever. different kinds of occupations have different kinds of things to be stress about and they have their own individual difficulty. it's not as easy as many people think it is. no occupation out there is easy.
k, thanks. no offense to anyone. (:
what a super long entry. hahaha.
